Week 8 Reading and Writing

As I have begun looking back at my work over the semester, I have realized that there is always room for improvement. I feel like sometimes the reading notes are the most extended parts of the week and as much as I enjoy the reading I also have felt like the post lengths are a little long at times.

Coming into this class, I knew I would enjoy the reading. I have found that I enjoy writing the stories more than reading them. I would have to say that I enjoyed the readings in the biblical unit, but I also have enjoyed the Japanese readings. I cannot possibly pick a favorite reading.

I have found that I am incredibly pleased with the stories that I have written. My reading notes give me the bare minimum that I need to write an original story that is my own work with the influence of the story I read. It is essential for me to be able to write my own work as a Professional Writing major.

I am pleased with the writing I have done for my portfolio and look forward to writing more stories as I move forward with the semester. I will also be attempting to complete a lot of extra credit.  The story that was really fun to write was the story that I got out of the Japanese reading. I enjoyed getting to write a story about drag queens that created the world. I would not change anything on my website or on my blog because I appreciate how they look. I genuinely look forward to writing more as I come closer to my senior year.
